First Breathe: T-Piece Resuscitator

First Breathe® T-Piece Resuscitator is manually operated, gas powered resuscitator designed to provide breaths at a set flow which ensures adequate pressure delivery and oxygenation to the infants. First Breathe® is a T-piece device with controlled PIP, consistent PEEP, thus providing maximum oxygenation to the baby's lungs.

T-piece Resuscitator is a device used to resuscitate (bring back to consciousness) a patient. One tube is connected from gas line to the gas inlet port and another tube comes from gas outlet port to the T-piece and then T-piece is connected to the neonatal resuscitation mask.

Overview / Highlights
  • Easy to Use
  • Flexibility in Operation
  • Accurate Pressure Delivery
  • Compact in size
  • Controlled and Precise PIP settings
  • Consistent and Precise PEEP setttings

Comparison of First Breathe: T-Piece Resuscitator and Self Inflating Manual Resuscitator

Comparing self-inflating manual resuscitator with First Breathe: T-piece resuscitators, T-piece provide a more stable, and controlled peak inspiration pressure (PIP) and positive end-expiratory pressure (PEEP) which helps protect the newborn's lungs.

By using Maximum Pressure Relief regulator, PIP (Peak Inspiratory Pressure) Regulator and PEEP (Positive End Expiratory Pressure) cap we can deliver controlled and precise PIP and PEEP values, thus provide maximum oxygenation to patient’s lung and maintain Functional Residual Capacity (FRC).
